Ahhh the feelingsssssss. The isolating mom feelingssss. I’d write my own essay in the comment section but just know the words you shared HIT.

Re: mom’s projections- I read this essay in The Atlantic “Why Women Still Can’t Have It All.” Very interesting.

Thank you for including me in this (yet another) amazing piece! The rosemary water FOR SURE helps with growth. My bald spots on my temples are filling in. I know it’s the water treatment.

Team full f*cking coverage babes. And let me add, keep your tampon and hand me a (thin) pad while we’re at it. I just cannot be bothered with anything anymore🫶🏾

LOL - 1000% correct. Hate the feeling of a tampon, even when there seems to be no other choice, over 70% of my active brain is just thinking of the discomfort. Pads all the way. Love the Atlantic, and will def be checking that out. The title already has me intrigued.

I was always team thong but am getting more into full now! actually since having kids i too feel like thongs are uncomfortable for no needed reason. is it that PP, after kids we have no tolerance or endurance for whatever is unnecessarily inconvenient?

The hair LOSSSSS im in it. surprised i still have hair on my head. both my PP were similar w hair loss, only this one has started far earlier and ive no cclue when it will end andddddd i absolutely hate how wet falling out hair feels on my hands, let alone the extra time it takes to manage it yikes!

your moms resentment is a big piece of unpacking for sure. my husbands family seems similar- he has 8 aunts and uncles and the resentment is very present. the level of misery attached with sacrifice and the judgment of our way of raising kids now, feeling in tune w our needs and limits, voicing our hardships and finding time for ourselvessss its all hard for that gen for sure. Feel you! WIsh theyd look atr themselves and face their music as much as their deign others but anyhow....
